Life | Hangul Day + Purchases!

Hi everyone!
I just wanted to share something pretty cool that happened this week.
Well, the 9th of October is Hangul day, a day to celebrate the proclamation of the Korean script.
To celebrate, my Korean class watched some performances put on by other students from uni, and also from the Korean Culture Office in Sydney. There were traditional dances and a drum performance, as well as Kpop dance covers. It was really fun to watch.

This was a performance of Korean knife dance, or geonmu.
They were really graceful and their hanbok (traditional Korean dress) were beautiful!
I was completely mesmerised.

Also, WE GOT TO EAT A GIANT BIBIMBAP!!!
It was pretty exciting. And I got to help stir it all up!

Before the vicious stirring!
(Look at the HUGE jug of gochujang! It's red pepper paste that is very spicy and delicious!)

AND AFTER!
The gochujang was poured on top and a couple of people were given gloves and big shovels!
I got to help stir which was actually really fun (and only a tiny bit embarrassing).
The smell was soooooooo good! ^__^

I spoke to the chef a bit and she was really nice. She said this should serve 200 people!
But I doubt that accounts for the fact that uni students will get as much free food as they can. :P
Anyway, if you've never tried bibimbap before, it's a spicy dish with rice, beef, egg and veggies.
I recommend finding a Korean restaurant and trying some.

Whilst I'm here, I'll show you some of the things I have recently purchased!

Firstly, I bought these 2 dresses from ASOS. They were on sale for $30 and $20 dollars (respectively).
I hope they're quite light, as this summer is going to be insanely hot and I don't have many summer dresses.

And I also got Etude House Tear eye liner in #3. It's an under eye liner, with a sheer, pink tinged shine.
Anyway, I'm liking it so far, and will have a review for you soon, with close ups and my full opinion.

Hope you're all keeping well.
And as always, thank you for reading!

♥ Bec
Thank you to Junni.

My mum bought me a dolsot for Christmas last year so now I can make my own at home!!
I always use a raw egg so it can cook into the rice. Oops! I'm making myself hungry ^__^
